Company Overview
ElectronVault invents and licenses technologies that enable large-scale battery systems to be manufactured, sold, and serviced at mass-market price targets. Our launch market is the two-wheel electric vehicle market in Asia, which currently has over 100 Million electric two-wheelers on the road today. The ElectronVault Battery System Platform™ technologies are used in electric vehicle (two-wheel, four-wheel and mass transit) and infrastructure (grid-tied and off-grid) energy storage applications.
ElectronVault technology development stems from deep understanding and technical knowledge ofelectrochemistry, especially Lithium ion chemistries, and their use in battery systems for electric vehicle platforms. Founded and invented by serial entrepreneurs Rob Ferber and his Caltech lab partner Linda Maepa, the ElectronVault Battery System Platform™ technologies are several generations removed from Rob's earliest work developing the Tesla Roadster battery system and the BMW Mini-E battery. They are joined by a team of start-up veterans in Finance, Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Engineering, R&D and Manufacturing along with a strong engineering team.
The company now has battery systems deployed in Asia, Africa, Europe and North America—and is currently providing technology and expertise for multiple electric vehicle and remote power products slated for 2011 and 2012 availability in Asia and Africa.
